Just three short years ago, trusted financial advisors Jess Brady and Glen Hare opened the doors of their very own financial advisory business, Fox & Hare.

Fox & Hare has quickly grown to become a highly respected financial advice firm, guiding a young, modern demographic of members aged between 25 and 45 to make smart financial decisions and achieve their financial goals.

Since day one, founders Jess and Glen have gone to great lengths to ensure that Fox & Hare has not only held a great care for the financial health of their clients, but has contributed significantly to causes that are making a difference in the lives of young people.

School for Life is lucky enough to be one of the three major charities which Fox & Hare so generously supports.

It was after attending one of School for Life’s famous annual Black Tie Gala Balls that Jess became wrapt with the mission of the Foundation to educate poverty out of existence, and quickly convinced co-founder Glen that School for Life was a cause worthy of the support of their business, Fox & Hare.

Particularly, the team admit, School for Life’s focus on delivering a quality education to students in Uganda was what originally attracted the duo to support the Foundation.

“A couple of things that drew us to it is obviously that education is at the backbone of the mission and everything that you guys do,” Glen said.

“...there’s a lot of research that shows that the greater level of education, a greater level of literacy leads to better mental health, better physical health and obviously better financial wellbeing as well.”

As a progressive firm servicing a diverse and modern demographic, Glen and Jess were also thrilled that School for Life offered both boys and girls in our communities with equal access to education.

“(we) also really loved the fact that it was an equal opportunity for both the guys and the girls within the Uganda community,” Glen said.

“That’s something that we’re really passionate about – you know diversity, inclusion, and the fact that there’s a real focus on the young girls also getting an education as well, helping and ensuring them that they give them the best opportunity to move through all the way, from kindergarten to high school.”

School for Life’s work to engage and empower the rural Ugandan communities which surround the Foundation’s three school campuses was a further factor that brought the business partners to their decision to support School for Life.

“School for Life empowers communities around the school...you really empower the broader community to be a part of that mission, from training the cooks, training the teachers, training the people that make the uniforms, to the builders, to the bricklayers - everything like that is all very localised, which we really really loved,” Glen said.

Fox & Hare has been an invaluable supporter of School for Life Foundation since the firm’s inception in 2017.

We are so grateful for the generosity they have shown time and time again to our students and staff at our schools in Uganda - their investment in education will benefit our School for Life communities for many years to come.
